- The project is limited to four encroachments including two crossing upgrades, one crossing decommission and one surface diversion. The first encroachment is a surface water diversion from a spring (40.9572 N, 123. 7590 W) for domestic use. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Work for the first proposed encroachment (STX-1) will replacing an existing 12" diameter culvert with a minimum 36" diameter culvert in a Class Ill stream (40.9595 N, 123.7590 W). The second proposed encroachment (STX-2) will replace an existing 24" diameter culvert with a minimum 36" diameter culvert in a Class Ill stream (40.9558 N, 123.7608 W). The third proposed encroachment will decommission an existing road/stream crossing (40.9561 , 123.7627 W). Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
