Document Description
The project is limited to 4 encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an in ground 30 inch by 8 feet deep concrete cistern that passively collects shallow subsurface ground seep or spring water. Water is diverted to storage for domestic household and irrigation use. A second encroachment is to replace a shot funned failing 12 inch culvert with a minimum 18 inch culvert. A third encroachments is to upgrade a dirt ford crossing to a rocked ford crossing. A fourth encroachment is to remove perched fill that was placed within the banks of a Class III watercourse. Work for the crossing encroachment will include excavation, removal of the failing culverts, replacement with new properly sixed culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
