Water from POD 1 is diverted for domestic use and water diverted rom POD 2 is for irrigation. Work for these water diversions will include replacement, use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. The one other proposed encroachment is to install a culvert that discharges water into a rock-lined ditch that discharges into a vegetable swale. Work for this encroachment will include excavation and placement of a new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
