Document Description
Pursuant to the adopted City of Fresno Metropolitan Water Resources Management Plan Update ("Metro Plan"), CUP Application No. C-14-041 has been filed as an implementation measure to develop the City of Fresno Southeast Surface Water Treatment Facility (SESWTF) as a subsequent project identified in the Metro Plan and a facility critical to optimizing the conjunctive use of the City's available water resources to provide a sustainable, reliable, and safe drinking water supply. The SESWTF would have an ultimate capacity of up to 80 million gallons per day and would be sited on the 37-acre easterly parcel (APN 310-083-04) comprising the subject property. The plant will receive raw surface water via a 6-foot diameter underground water pipeline and will distribute treated potable water via large-diameter and standard water mains.
