Document Description
The City of Menlo Park will be the Lead Agency to prepare a Subsequent Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the City's 6th Cycle Housing Element Update; Safety Element Update; and a new Environmental Justice Element for the City's General Plan. The EIR will be a Subsequent EIR to the City's 2016 General Plan EIR (SCH# 2015062054). The 6th Cycle Housing Element Update will address the City's Regional Housing Needs Allocation of 2,946 housing units, plus an appropriate buffer. The EIR will evaluate the potential environmental impacts of implementing the 6th Cycle Housing Element Update, the Safety Element Update, and a new Environmental Justice Element for the City of Menlo Park, and associated General Plan and/or Zoning amendments.
