- Note: Extended Review per lead. The project Applicant is proposing for the subject site a residential and business park development with the dedication of permanent open space. The project site is presently indicated on the Land Use Map and the Zoning Map for the City of Murrieta for approximately 74 acres of commercial/light industrial uses, approximately 38 acres for large-lot residential (minimum lot size 2.5 acres), and 10 acres of single-family (min. lot size 7,200 sf). The proposal is to reconfigure the Land Use designations and Zoning Classifications boundaries to establish approximately 21 acres for commercial/light industrial uses, 37 acres for single-family residential development (minimum lot size 5,000 sf) and 64 acres for permanent open space. Specifics of the residential and business park development are not available at this time.
