Document Description
The San Leandro Creek Vegetation Management Plan (VMP), prepared by the Alameda County Flood Control District (AFCD or District), provides guidance to design and implement specific management actions to be employed by the District on a long term basis to ensure a sustainable and healthy riparian corridor consistent with District flood control objectives and operations. The specific management actions will assist the District in meeting multiple vegetation management goals on District-owned properties along San Leandro Creek in District Flood Control Zone 13. These properties are located in the city of San Leandro between the Union Pacific Railroad tracks (downstream end) and the 580 Freeway crossing (upstream end).
