Document Description
State Water Board, as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The Yorba Linda Water District will drill a 3,000 gallon per minute well and install a 400 horsepower motor. A 16-inch 725 foot pipe will be installed from the well to Richfield Road, and a 1,975 foot pipeline will be installed under Richfield Road. The pipeline will transition from a 20-inch pipe to a 36-inch pipe at its end. The pipe will transport untreated water to the hypochlorite generation system for chlorination. A 10-inch diameter 104 foot waste discharge line was also installed from the well to an existing waste discharge structure. A spillway, airgap structure, and flow dissipater will also be installed. Electrical service will be provided to the project by the City of Anaheim Public Utilities Dept., and a new transformer and associated infrastructure will be installed at the well site. A Programmable Logic Controller and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system will provide control and monitoring of the well. The project will provide for the operation of these facilities.
