Document Description
The City intends to expand its direct Transfer Facility to a "Large Volume" station. The City of Porterville currently operates a Solid Waste Transfer Facility located within the existing City-owned public works complex at 555 N. Prospect Street. The current facility is permitted to receive and transfer up to 150 tons per day of recyclables, compostable materials and municipal solid waste. The proposed Project is expansion of the facility to accommodate up to 500 tons per day of the same materials.
