Project includes replacing existing conductors on the 40-mile, double circuited 230-kilovolt transmission line that runs between Vaca Dixon Substation in the City of Vacaville and Lakeville Substation near Petaluma with conductors having an increased emergency rating. The project also includes modifications to 189 existing steel lattice towers along the line and to equipment at Vaca Dixon, Tulacay, and Lakeville Substations to accept the new conductors.
