SWRCB is a responsible agency for this project. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program is providing funds for the project. The Amador Water Agency proposes to install a new 12-inch diameter water distribution line of approx. length of 3800 feet. The pipeline will be placed below ground in public easements or road right-of-way; a new 0.5 MG water storage tank will be built to replace existing Tank #9, and an existing 8-inch diameter pipeline between Tank 9 and wells 14 and 9 will remain in place and serve as a dedicated line to fill new storage tank to achieve chlorine contact time.
