Document Description
The proposed project includes City of Fresno construction, operation, and maintenance of a booster pump station and pipelines to convey tertiary treated recycled water from the Fresno-Clovis Regional Water Reclamation Facility (RWRF) for urban non-potable reuse, groundwater recharge, and agricultural reuse as proposed in the adopted City of Fresno Recycled Water Master Plan.
The project would include installation of up to 22 miles of 8-inch to 54-inch diameter recycled water distribution pipelines in the southwest quadrant of the City of Fresno Sphere of Influence and it includes a booster pump station that would be housed in a single-story building approximately 1,800 square feet in size (30 ft. x 60 ft.), along with a surge tank 2,000 cubic foot (approximately 15,000 gallons) in capacity. The pump station would utilize electric pumps and would include flow meters, pressure gauges, remote telemetry equipment connected via fiber optic cable, and manual transfer switches. A 6 ft. tall perimeter block wall would be constructed around these facilities and an access road 20 ft. wide up to 200 ft. long would be paved for maintenance vehicle access.
