- Document Description
- The project would eliminate the low-water crossing, replacing it with a new structure accommodating two 9-foot lanes with 2-foot shoulders. The existing low-water crossing would be removed and regraded to natural contours. The roadway approaches would be constructed to meet current AASHTO design standards for a 30 mile per hour (mph) facility. The roadway modifications would conform to the existing roadway approximately 440 feet to the west of the new bridge and 420 feet east of the new bridge. The new bridge would be a cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete voided slab approximately 72 feet in length and 25 feet in width and would clear span the creek.
