Document Description
The purpose of the proposed project is to minimize human exposure primarily to lead in the mine waste (rocks/tailings/soils) on site. Mine waste with hazardous levels of lead will be removed. Mine waste with concentrations below hazardous levels but above the cleanup goal will be consolidated on site and covered with clean soil to restrict access. A gabion wall approximately 30 feet long by 3 feet wide by 9 feet high will be installed across the toe of a landslide adjacent to Deer Creek. Shotcrete will be applied to the exposed landslide scarp to further.
