Document Description
The Lead Agency is proposing to construct a new pump station off the California Aqueduct Turnout north of the Oso Pumping and Power Plant. The pump station will include a single vertical turbine pump with provisions for an additional 3 similar units for a total of 4 (3 operating, 1 standby) with an ultimate flow capacity of 4,500 gpm. The project also includes installation of associated 12-inch diameter discharge piping, 24-inch diameter manifold piping, valves, meter, appurtenances, electrical and controls equipment, drainage piping, and a block building to house the meter and motor control center for the pump station.
