Document Description
The CV Link is a proposed 50-mile, alternative transportation corridor for bicycles, pedestrians, and low-speed electric vehicles ("LSEV s") along the Whitewater River and Tahquitz Creek that will initially stretch from Palm Springs to Coachella. The Coachella Valley Association of Governments ("CV AG") certified an EIR for the CV Link project in May 2017. The City of Palm Desert ("City") subsequently adopted responsible agency findings and a Notice of Determination for the CV Link EIR in July 2018. Since that time, CVAG has been working with member jurisdictions, including the City, as to construction plans for CV Link. The design and location of CV Link in Palm Desert is primarily on-street, making it different than other cities.
