Document Description
To maintain the reliability of the City of Los Angeles' potable water supply and reduce dependence on imported water sources, LADWP proposes to implement the LA Groundwater Replenishment Project to replenish the San Fernando Groundwater Basin with up to 30,000 acre-feet per year of purified recycled water from the Donald C. Tillman Water Reclamation Plant. The project would consist of a new advanced water purification facility, conveyance pipelines to existing spreading grounds, and spreading the purified water at existing spreading grounds.
