Project will be constructing an above-ground 6-inch natural gas pipeline and an above ground 8 inch water pipeline from the Kern/Mojave pipeline connection, near the Fairfield lease in Section 11, to the Main Camp lease in the southeast quarter of Section 24. The pipelines will be approx. 3.62 miles in length. The project will result in permanent impacts to 0.052 acres and temporary impacts to 8.656 acres of habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of San Joaquin kit fox (Vulpes macrotis mutica), San Joaquin antelope squirrel (Ammospermophilus nelson), which are designated as a threatened species under the CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
