Document Description
California High Speed Rail (CHSR) is constructing the phase 1 of the High-Speed Rail Passenger Service in the Central Valley. Based on our review of CRC’s internal engineering standards, as well as generally accepted industry practices, we have concluded that the minimum allowable distance from the proposed HSR line is 200 feet from CRC’s facilities. Therefore, the three storage tanks and associated auxiliary equipment within this 200-feet zone will need to be relocated. This scope includes the construction of a new tank battery (three, 3,000-barrel tanks) with the same capacity and design basis of the existing CRC Rose Facility located at Wasco, CA. Also, the relocation of the LACT Unit and associated vent stack, and truck loading facility is included. The major equipment included in the relocated facility are the following: • 2 new Oil Storage • 1 new Produced Water Tank • 1 Relocated LACT Unit Charge Pump • 1 Relocated LACT Unit • 1 relocated Vent Stack Truck Loading system • 1 Relocated Truck Loading Skid
