- Developed and Undeveloped land in Kern County. Current Zoning Classifications and General Plan Map Code Designations to remain the same.
- Document Description
- The originally approved project consists of an amendment to Title 19 Kern County Zoning Ordinance (July 2012) with focus on Chapter 19.98 (Oil and Gas Production), to include new site development standards for all oil and gas exploration, extraction, operations, and production activities in unincorporated Kern County. The Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources, as the CEQA responsible agency, will be issuing a permit for the proposed project activity, which consists of the following: CRC proposes to redrill the existing well 365-N-14H at BV Nose and the complete, and hydraulicaly fracture one (1) redrilled oil and gas well. Existing well was drilled from the existing Section 14H Well Pad and the redrill will utilize the same surface location. The current well will be abandoned and then redrilled from an approximate depth of 7500. The well will be directionally drilled from the Section 14H pad in order to minimize land distrubance and will target the Stevens Sand reservoir. API# 03063413-01; Well name: 365-N-14H
