Document Description
CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0041-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Aera Energy, LLC.
The project includes activities related to repair of a 6-inch underground natural gas pipeline coating at 2 ephemeral streams. To access the underground pipeline at two locations, approx. 4ft wide by 8ft long deep cavity will be excavated with hydro-excavation, removing approx. 8 cubic yard of sandy soil from the stream and backfilled with approx. 8 cubic yard of clean, imported sand. Site 1, a 25% slope from the repair area to original grade will be constructed to allow safe ingress and egress for personnel. This slope will remove approx. 5.5. cubic yard of sandy soil to be used to backfill this area once work is complete. Excavation repair the pipeline coating will require removal of approx. 653 sq. ft. of Valley saltbush scrub habitat by hand within the two streams.
