Document Description
The project includes the replacement of 260 feet of retaining wall along the northern bank of Sulphur Creek, constructed to a height of up to 10 feet, anchored with 8-10 feet tall drilled piers located below the grade of Sulphur Creek. A cutoff wall will be installed approximately 2 feet below the grade of Sulphur Creek to prevent scour of the creek bed, which could undermine the stability of the retaining wall. To aid in the construction of the retaining wall and cutoff wall, adjacent vegetation will be removed and Sulphur Creek will be temporarily dewatering adjacent to the proposed disturbance area.
