Document Description
The Project is limited to the demolition and replacement of the Edinger Avenue Bridge over Bolsa Chica Channel. The existing 15-span bridge will be removed then replaced with a 4-span bridge. The Project will increase the bridge width from 30 feet to 48.5. The bridge profile will be raised 5.9 higher than the existing bridge. The length of the bridge span will increase from 300 feet to 340 feet. Rock will be deposited into the stream to provide bank protection, bridge abutment protection, and to fill and protect an existing scour hole at the bridge location.
