Document Description
The Project proposes to replace existing sanitary sewer pipes in specific areas of the Crystal Springs County Sanitation District using primarily the pipe bursting construction method. In most locations, 6 inch vitrified clay pipes will be replaced with 6 inch high density polyethylene pipes. However , in some locations where 8 inch pipe exists downstream of the segments to be replaced, the 6 inch pipes will be upsized to 8 inch pipes. After pipe replacement, existing laterals along the pipe alignment will be re-connected to the new pipe. Existing brike manholes will also be replaced with concrete manholes.
