Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2013-0190-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Lurine Creek flows easterly and crosses under two adjacent bridges on I-5, a divided facility with two lanes in each direction. While the creek is naturally ephemeral, it may carry agricultural run-off requiring coordination to commence the work when the creek is dry. RSP would be placed along both banks of Lurline Creek under both structures between the existing edges of right of way, as required. In one place along the north bank the north-bound bridge, RSP would be used to support the base of slope constructed using sack concrete that had been damaged. Staging is within the right of way. A temporary construction easement would be needed for access on both the western and eastern sides of the project.
