Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing Amendment No. 2 to Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement 1600-2012-0063-R4 to the Permittee, California Dam on the Carmel River in Monterey County. The Carmel River upstream of the existing San Clemente Dam will be rerouting trough a new, created channel. Amendment No. 2 includes changing the description of the access road bridge over Tularcitos Creek as a result of a change in design that includes a longer span; providing an alternative description of the temporary crossing over Tularcitos Creek used during permanent bridge construction; modifying the approval process for biologist to hand and relocate species of special concern; and allowing for excavation activity at night beyond what is authorized in the Agreement.
