CDFW has executed Amendment No. 6 to Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2013-0063-R4 (Agreement), to the Permittee, California American Water. The project includes the removal of the San Clemente Dam and the Old Carmel River Dam on the Carmel River in Monterey County. The Carmel River upstream of the existing San Clemente Dam will be rerouted through a new, created channel. Amendment No. 6 includes allowing an alternate method of diverting river flow during removal of the Old Carmel River Dam.
