Document Description
Fish and Game is the principal jurisdictional agency with responsibility and duty to manage and conserve the biological resources of the state, including fish, wildlife and plants. As part of its responsibility, the Department administers the Ocean Resources Enhancement and Hatchery Program (OREHP), a program of basic and applied research into the artificial propagation, rearing, and stocking of important marine finfish species occurring in ocean waters off southern CA. The OREHP currently focuses on white seabass rearing and release.
