Document Description
On November 18, 2014 the City Council adopted the Lake Merritt Station Area Plan (LMSAP) and related General Plan amendments and design guidelines. The LMSAP is a 25-year planning document that provides a vision and planning framework for future growth and development within the Plan Area. The overarching goal of the LMSAP is to create a transit-oriented district accompanied by improvements to parks and community facilities, encourages non-automobile forms of travel, adaptive reuse of historic buildings, traffic calming to make streets safer and support for existing and new businesses.
