Document Description
The Campo Verde Solar Reduced size Alternative #3 Project includes a Conditional Use Permit No. 11-0007 authorizing construction of a normal 140-megawatt alternating current solar photovoltaic (PV) energy generation project on approximately 1,443 acres. Campo Verde Solar will build a 140 megawatt alternating current solar generation facility on private land and build an associated 230 - kilovolt (kV) transmission line (gen-tie). The proposed gen-tie crossed both private and public lands (BLM). The gen-tie will connect the solar generation facility to the Imperial Valley Substation. Following the end of its operational life, the project will be decommissioned and the site will be restored to its pre-project condition.
