Document Description
The Project will improve reliability and increase efficiency of the WWTP, and will provide better management of reclaimed water. The Project will involve: 1) constructing a new lift station, blower building, and an additional secondary clarifier; 2) installing new high efficiency blowers, dissolved oxygen controls, new reclamation filters, flow gauges, valves, controllers, internal mixed liquor recycled systems, baffles, mixers and dechlorination equipment; 3) rehabilitating the headworks and the operations center (lab, bathrooms and work areas); 4) removing a primary clarifier, and converting the primary clarifier into an emergency storage; 5) converting the existing overflow holding tank into an odor control facility; 6) rehabilitating and lining the equalization basin, including adding a diver wall in the equalization basin to separate and manage secondary and filtered effluents; 7) rehabilitating the existing reclamation facilities (flocculation and filtration); 8) installing an additional sludge dewatering centrifuge, and modifying the existing sludge dryer; 9) demolishing and existing pump station; 10) installing and modifying piping; and 11) upgrading the electrical system, and the supervisory control and data acquisition system.
