Document Description
The Pittsburg-Tesla 230 kV Reconductoring Project is located from the Pittsburg Substation east-southeast in the City of Pittsburg, Contra Costa County to the Tesla Substation in the City of Trace, Alameda County. Project activities related to the Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement are located at Latitude 38.005903 N, Longitude - 121.623097 W, Latitude 37.808903 N, Longitude - 121.623109 W, and Latitude 37.804010 N, Longitude - 121.623097 W. The project operator will remove and replace the conductors (wires) on a 31 mile-long 230kV electric transmission line. The portion of the project that is covered under the Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement consists of the replacement of two culverts over seasonal drainages and the temporary placement of fill in a seasonal wetland to facilitate equipment access. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2012-0189-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
