Document Description
This project is proposed by a responsible party, who is required by the Central Coast Water Board to cleanup groundwater at a polluted site. The project consists of five main components 1) upgrade an existing onsite groundwater extraction and treatment system (GETS) to optimize operations, 2) Install and startup six onsite and two offsite groundwater extraction wells; 3) install conveyance piping (about 1,900 linear feet) and pump groundwater from the new wells to the upgraded GETS; 4) treat the polluted water; and 5) recharge the treated water back into a deeper aquifer unit in an onsite injection well.
