Document Description
On July 20, 2015, Palmdale Energy LLC submitted a Petition to Amend the previously approved Palmdale Hybrid Power Project. On Aug. 9, 2017, the Energy Commission approved the Petition to Amend with a Final Decision.
This Committee-assigned amendment to the previously approved Palmdale Hybrid Power Project changes the project to a natural-gas-fired combined-cycle power plant with an approx. net output of 699.4 MW. The approval reduces the site to 50 acres, eliminates the solar component and replaces the combustion turbine technology with fast start flexible technology.
