Document Description
The Crane Creek Fish Passage Improvement Project is one of five projects that will be sponsored by the Sonoma County Water Agency on tributaries to Dry Creek and the Russian River as part of the Reasonable and Prudent Alternative in the Russian River Biological Opinion. The Crane Creek Project is designed to address habitat limiting factors that were identified by the DFG in a 1999 habitat inventory and confirmed by the National Marine Fisheries Service in 2007. Fish passage will be improved by chiseling a series of step-pools in the existing bedrock.
