Use Permit and Reclamation Plan for Newman Ridge Quarry, a proposed andesite quarry on approximately 278 acres, with operations occurring on approximately 216 acres; And a General Plan Amendment to I, Industrial; Zone Change to "M", Manufacturing District; Use Permit for an asphaltic concrete (AC) plant; and Use Permit to exceed the maximum 45' height limit in the "M" zone district for the proposed AC plant and a ready-mix concrete plant to allow heights of approx. 72' and 49'. respectively for the Edwin Center North project planned to host various processing facilities, including an aggregate plant, an asphaltic concrete (AC) plant, ready-mix concrete plant, an asphalt and concrete recycling plant, and a rail load out facility for finished products, as well as ancillary administration and support facilities (e.g., fuel storage, truck scales, temporary construction trailer).
