Document Description
The proposed project is the modernization of the existing David Starr Jordan High School campus. The proposed project would modernize campus facilities and redevelop the campus to facilitate the operation of the existing two school programs. The proposed project would include the removal of some facilities renovation and conversion of other facilities, and the construction of new buildings on 10.3 acres of the 21.5 acre campus. At project completion there would be two distinct small learning communities with a combined total of 85 classrooms and a total of approximately 260,100 s.f. of building space (approximately 1,500 more than existing), along with significantly more open space and quad areas. The proposed project would not alter the operation of the school programs on the campus and would not increase enrollment or student capacity.
