Document Description
Southern CA Edison (SCE) has submitted an application for a Permit to Construct the Special Protection System (SPS) upgrades required to distribute solar power generated by the 250-megawatt Abengoa Mojave Solar Project (AMSP) to the electric grid. The proposed SPS facilities include a new substation (Lockhart Substation), interconnection to the adjacent transmission lines, distribution system to provide substation light and power, and fiber-optic telecommunication links to various substations in the region.
