Document Description
The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the existing Mammoth Pacific I Geothermal Power Plant in the Casa Diablo geothermal complex with a new geothermal power plant (referred to as "M-1") at a new location approximately 500 feet east of the existing plant. Following an up to two-year decommissioning period, the existing MP-I plant would be removed from the site and the location converted to a gravel equipment storage area. No new offices or other structures would be included in the project with the exception of a small substation to be placed on the north side of the new M-1 plant. No change to existing geothermal resource utilization at the site would result from the project.
