Document Description
The proposed project includes replacing the existing well pump and motors and the existing discharge piping and valves at Well Nos. 1 and 2 as required. Connecting either to existing or new piping connections, a new 6-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water main pipe would be installed from Well No.1 to the Well No. 2 site to interconnect with Well No. 2 prior to and separate from the arsenic treatment system (Figure 2). The length of the water main would be approximately 800 feet. A new chemical feed system would be installed at the Well No. 2 site to inject a sodium hypochlorite solution into either well for disinfection, as well as storage tanks and facilities to accommodate needed fire suppression flows.
