Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2017-0287-R5) to the project applicant, Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority. The project involves extending the Metro Gold Line approx. 12.3 miles from Azusa to Montclair. To accommodate the new light rail transit (LRT) tracks, bridges that span various waterways along the alignment will widened. The project would modify, replace, or relocate existing freight rail transit (FRT) bridges that span Big Dalton Wash, San Dimas Wash, Marshall Canyon Channel, Live Oak Wash and Thompson Creek Wash in order to accommodate the dual track LRT. The project proposes to impact 0.06 acres of streambed/lake including 0.06 acres of permanent impact to cement channel due to shading.
