The City and Dunnigan are both Central Valley Project contractors allowing them to execute an unused CVP Project Supply allocation watershed of origin transfer under the Central Valley Project Improvement Act (CVPIA). The City will sell and Dunnigan will purchase a minimum of 1,000 acre-feet of unused CVP Project Supply allocation as allowed under the CVPIA each year for four consecutive years.
