Document Description
Colony Land Company LP ("Applicant") submitted an application to Fresno County Department of Public Works and Planning for a CUP and Reclamation Plan for 898 acres of a 1,500-acre site comprised of 14 parcels. The Applicant proposes to develop an aggregate mine and related processing plant, concrete and asphalt plants, and a recycling plant to be operated by Carmelita Resources ("Operator"). The application is for an aggregate production rate of 1.25 million tons/year and an operating life of 100 years. The 602 acres of the site not used for mine operation would continue to support agricultural operations. Most of the 898-acre portion of the Project Site would remain in agricultural production until such time that trees are removed and overburden (soil) removal commences.
