Document Description
PCWA proposes to re-route a segment of canal into an underground 42 inch ductile iron pipe that would run for ~1,295 ft. The raw water pipeline would be routed under Chicago Park Powerhouse Road to enter into the Secret Town Road right-of-way. Pipeline inlet and outlet structures would also be constructed. The project would decommission and remove or backfill existing flumes and segments of the open canal re-routed through the pipeline. A new layer of asphalt would be applied within areas of paved right-of-way disturbed.
