Document Description
300 Cannery Row: The project proposes to rehabilitate and subdivide 300 Cannery Row into 11 residential units and one 1404 sf retail space within the existing footprint of the structure and add a new 2,890 sf fourth story located at the north (bay) side of the existing structure. Common space would be a separate common ownership parcel. Twenty-two residential parking spaces (two spaces per residential unit) would be located off-site at 258/270 Foam Street. 258/270 Foam Street: The properties at 258/270 Foam Street are two vacant lots with a total area of 9,500 sf located on the north side of Foam Street and adjacent to the Recreation Trail. The project is proposed in two phases due to lack of water on the site. 258/270 Foam Street site has a General Plan Land Use designation of Commercial and a zoning designation of Community Commercial (C-2). The C-2 zoning district allows Mixed-Use development as a conditional use that requires a Use Permit. This project requires approval of a Tentative Map for the subdivision and a Master Use Permit for Mixed-Use development and over 50% lot coverage.
