Document Description
IRWD has prepared Addendum No. 3 to the FEIR for the Baker Water Treatment Plant Project. IRWD proposes to modify the project to include construction and operation of a solar photovoltaic power generation system and energy storage system within the existing boundaries of the Baker WTP. The project would supplement electricity provided by SCE with solar energy captured onsite to reduce the cost of power at the Baker WTP. The project would also charge the storage system batteries from the grid during off-peak hours and discharge them during on-peak times.
