Document Description
The Pennington Creek Bridge Removal and Streambed Restoration project would entail the removal of the wooden bridge over Pennington Creek, and restoration of instream habitat areas following completion of the removal effort. The project is proposed to occur during the late summer/early fall of 2010, to meet low flow permit requirements, and to avoid the nesting bird season. The project site is not within the Coastal Zone, and will not require a Coastal Development Permit. Bridge removal will require permit authorization from the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), and California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) for work within the channel, and for dewatering and diversion activities.
