The Village at Lake Shastina is a gated mixed-use planned development of 81 single-family homes, 3 duet units, a recreational clubhouse, and approximately 24,000sf of commercial office and retail space. The General Plan Amendment would modify the Miller Mountain Deer Wintering Range, reducing density restrictions for 360 acres of the surrounding area that include the project site, from 10-acres minimum parcel sizes to zero acre minimum parcel sizes, and 12 acres of the surrounding area, from 40-acre minimum parcel sized to zero acre minimum parcel sizes.
