Nevada Irrigation District (NID) proposes to constuct and operate a new treated water distribution system to serve rural residential parcels in the Ranchero Group service area. Construction of the Proposed Project includes installation of ~7 miles (36,500 ft) of new treated water pipelines (water mains) and related appurtenances (i.e., fire hydrants, meters, and valves). The purpose of the Proposed Project is to enable NID to meet the community's treated water demands. An assessment or community funded district would be formed to finance the Proposed Project.
