Consistent with the City of Murrieta General Plan Circulation Element
The City of Murrieta proposes a 0.88 mile extension of Jackson Avenue, within a 100' right-of-way from the limits of existing improvements south of Murrieta Hot Springs Road to the Ynex Road terminus at the City boundary of Murrieta and Temecula. The roadway will contain 4 lanes (two 12' travel lanes each direction), a 14' raised and landscaped median, a 7' bike lane in each direction, and 5' (min.) sidewalk in each direction. A portion of the improvements to Jackson Avenue includes the construction of a bridge over Warm Springs Creek. The bridge protion of the Project would remove an existing earthen crossing and replace it with a 195' long, cast-in-place, arch-culvert, bridge structure.
